Commercial Concrete Services

Cracked entry walks and sunken aprons are a liability, and your customers notice them before they reach the door. Golden Paw Concrete is one of the commercial concrete contractors Indianapolis businesses and property managers call for flatwork that has to look sharp and carry daily traffic. We plan the work around your hours, put the scope in writing and accept payment by invoice. Commercial flatwork sits alongside our residential work in our concrete services.

Commercial Concrete Installation and Repair

Sidewalks and Entrance Walks

Walks from the lot to the door and around the building, poured for heavy foot traffic.

ADA Ramps and Landings

Accessible ramps, landings and curb cuts built to the slopes in your plans and permit.

Drive Entrances and Aprons

The concrete where vehicles turn in off the street and where delivery trucks pull up.

Dumpster and Equipment Pads

Heavy-duty slabs where trash trucks and equipment would wear out asphalt.

Outdoor Seating Areas

Patios for restaurant dining, office break areas and building courtyards.

Commercial Concrete Repair

Spalled walks, broken panels and trip hazards fixed before they become a claim.

We also pour curbs, islands and the concrete sections of parking areas. Larger truck yards, warehouse slabs and loading areas are covered on our industrial and agricultural page.

Reliable Commercial Concrete Contractors

Commercial customers need different things than homeowners. You need a commercial concrete company that keeps you informed about the schedule, keeps the site safe for the public and sends paperwork your accounting team can use. We're insured. We write an itemized scope before any work is scheduled, and we can bill by invoice.

Retail stores, offices, restaurants and shopping centers can see how we work on our business concrete page. Apartment communities and rental portfolios have their own page for property managers and landlords.

Phasing Work Around an Open Business

Most commercial jobs happen while the business stays open. That takes planning. We break the work into sections so one entrance, one aisle of parking or one side of the walk stays usable while the other cures. Cones, tape and clear signage keep customers on the right path. The sequence and timing get settled with you at the consultation and written into the scope, so your staff knows what to expect each day.

Concrete also needs time before it takes traffic. Foot traffic can usually return well before vehicles can, and we'll give you clear dates for both. We pour March through November, so winter is the right time to plan spring work and get budgets approved.

Finishes for Commercial Flatwork

A broom finish is the standard for commercial walks and ramps because it grips in rain and sleet. For a storefront or building entrance that should look more finished, exposed aggregate adds texture and hides wear. Colored bands and borders can mark entrances or outdoor seating.

Commercial Concrete Budgets and Payment

Commercial pricing depends on the square footage, slab thickness, tear-out, how the work has to be phased and how many trips that takes. Our concrete cost guide explains what drives concrete cost. If spreading out payments would help, see our financing options.

Questions & Answers

Commercial Concrete FAQs

Have another question? Visit our FAQ page or call or text (317) 672-0966.

Can you work around our business hours?

Yes. We plan the schedule and the sequence with you at the consultation, so customers and staff can still get in and out. If certain days or times are off-limits, tell us up front and we'll build the scope around them.

Can you phase the work so customers can still park?

Yes. We split the area into sections and keep part of it open while the rest is poured and cured. Our guide to phasing commercial flatwork explains how a phased job is laid out.

Do you build ADA ramps?

Yes. We pour accessible ramps, landings and curb cuts to the slopes and dimensions in your plans or permit. If the ramp needs a permit, we apply for it as part of the job.

Do you accept invoices for commercial work?

Yes. Invoice is one of our accepted payment methods, along with check, cash, Visa, AMEX, Discover and Mastercard. Payment terms are spelled out in your written estimate before anything is scheduled.

Do you pour aprons at loading docks?

Truck aprons and dock approaches carry heavy, turning loads, so thickness and joint layout matter more than on a sidewalk. We look at the traffic at the consultation and put the slab plan in your written scope. Our post on commercial flatwork in Indianapolis covers which areas take the most wear.
