Our Process
Our concrete process is the same for a small walkway repair as it is for a new driveway or a commercial parking area. Ten steps take you from the first call to the final walkthrough. At each one, you know what happens next and what you owe. Want to know who's behind it? Read more about us.
Our Concrete Process, Step by Step
- 1Request an estimate or book a consultation. Call or text (317) 672-0966, or use our Request Estimate form.
- 2In-person consultation. A concrete specialist visits the site and talks through the project with you: size, finish, drainage and access.
- 3Review and approve the estimate. You get a written, itemized scope. Take your time, ask questions and approve it when you're ready.
- 4Discuss and handle financing as needed. If you'd like to spread out the cost, we walk you through financing options.
- 550% deposit up front. Half the project total is due before work moves forward.
- 6Permits, handled by Golden Paw. If your project needs a permit, we apply for it.
- 7Schedule the job. We set a date for your project during pour season.
- 8Complete the job. Our crew prepares the site, sets the forms, pours and finishes the concrete.
- 9Walkthrough. We walk the finished work with you to make sure you're happy.
- 10Remaining 50% due at completion. The balance is due once the job is complete.
When We Pour
We pour concrete March through November only. Fresh concrete needs time above freezing to cure properly, so we don't pour through the winter. Estimates and planning happen all year, though. Our 3-Year Workmanship Warranty
Every service we offer carries a 3-year workmanship warranty. It covers problems caused by work done incorrectly. It doesn't cover damage the customer causes, like de-icing salt eating at the surface. Ask about the full warranty terms at your estimate.
Ways to Pay
We accept cash, check, Visa, AMEX, Discover and Mastercard, plus invoicing for businesses and property managers. Financing is available too: 0% financing for 12 months, subject to credit approval. Payments follow the same split on every job, with half up front and half at completion.

When does my project get on the schedule?
Once you've approved the estimate, paid the deposit and any permits are in hand, we set your date. Exact timing depends on the season, the permit and the size of the job, so we'll give you a realistic date when we schedule rather than a guess at the consultation.
What if the weather isn't right on pour day?
Rain, heat and cold all affect how concrete sets and cures, so the forecast matters. If conditions aren't right, we'll talk with you about a new pour date. Our guide to caring for new concrete covers what weather means after the pour.
When is the deposit due?
The 50% deposit is due after you approve the estimate and settle any financing, before we pull permits and schedule the job. The remaining 50% is due at completion, after the walkthrough.
What happens at the final walkthrough?
We walk the finished work with you and look it over together. It's your chance to ask questions and make sure you're happy before the final payment.
